This bill is the House Democrats' latest legislation to address the ongoing public health and economic crisis that has resulted from the coronavirus pandemic. This piece of legislation builds on efforts by House Democrats to put struggling families, small businesses, and essential workers first.

Houston, TX – Tomorrow, May 6th, Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia (TX-29) will be joining Commissioner Rodney Ellis and several local Houston elected officials for a Coronavirus Mask Distribution event at the Wendel D. Ley Family YMCA. The CDC recommends wearing a face mask in public in an effort to further reduce the spread of the coronavirus, and Harris County is also currently under a Face Mask order.
