Trump – Adam Schiff, Jerrold Nadler, Zoe Lofgren, Hakeem Jeffries, Val Demings, Jason Crow, and Sylvia Garcia – sent a letter to White House Counsel Pat Cipollone, who will be lead counsel for the President in his impeachment trial.
Washington, DC — Today at noon, the House Managers, on behalf of the U.S. House of Representatives, filed with the Secretary of the Senate a Replication to the Response to the Summons of President Donald J. Trump to the Articles of Impeachment.

Speaking to reporters at her East Houston office Friday morning, Rep. Garcia (D-Houston) called the invitation to serve a "big honor," though not one she was intending to do.
