After over 14 hours of debate, Democrats surprised Republicans by holding off a final vote in the House Judiciary Committee until Friday morning on two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, as Democrats charged the President was clearly trying to get Ukraine to announce investigations which would benefit Mr. Trump's 2020 re-election bid.

"President Trump used his office to serve himself," said Rep. Val Demings (D-FL), as Democrats said the evidence was clear that President Trump was trying to get foreign help for 2020.

On Dec. 11, the Farm Workforce Modernization Act, a bipartisan bill spearheaded by U.S. Representatives Jimmy Panetta (D-CA-20), Zoe Lofgren (D-CA-19), Dan Newhouse (R-WA-04), Mike Simpson (R-ID-02), Doug LaMalfa (R-CA-01), and Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL-25), passed in the House of Representatives with a 260-165 vote.

Over 80 members of the Home of Representatives have now referred to as on White Home senior adviser Stephen Miller to resign after leaked emails printed this week confirmed his affinity for white nationalism.

HuffPost contacted the workplace of each Home member and requested whether or not Miller ought to resign. All instructed, over 80 representatives, all Democrats, have mentioned he ought to.

Republicans defending President Donald Trump have falsely claimed there is no first-hand knowledge that directly implicates the commander-in-chief.

As with many of the past defenses of Trump offered by Republicans, there are making factual holes with the argument.

Rep. Sylvia Garcia (D-TX) debunked the talking point during her questioning of House Intelligence Committee counsel Daniel Goldman.

"Mr. Goldman, my Republican colleagues have suggested there is no direct evidence," Garcia noted. "Is that true?"
