"Today, because of extreme MAGA Republicans, abortion bans went into effect in Texas and three other states across our country. Texas' "Trigger Law" is extreme, inhumane, and unjust. In the Lone Star State, it's shockingly now a felony for women to receive an abortion -- even in cases of rape and incest."
"Republicans have wanted this control over women and their bodies all along. But I promise to always stand with women and their fundamental human rights. I will do all I can, and work side by side with my colleagues, to support all women during this difficult time. The fight is not over."
