Following today's DACA court hearing in Houston, it is evident that the DACA program remains at great risk. Sadly, Republicans seek to dismantle the program and its protections for Dreamers.

Dreamers served as essential workers during the pandemic, they protect communities as first responders, they studied here, and they contribute immensely to our economy. They must be protected – they are Americans in their hearts, souls, and minds. They don't know any other country.

That's why today I'm doubling down on urging the Senate to pass the Dream and Promise Act. This bill will keep families together and provide a pathway to citizenship for America's Dreamers. That's why the House has already passed this important bill.

The Senate must act now. America's Dreamers cannot wait.
