Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia will Join Commissioner Rodney Ellis and Several Local Elected Officials and Community Leaders for a Coronavirus Mask Distribution Event

Houston, TX – Tomorrow, May 6th, Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia (TX-29) will be joining Commissioner Rodney Ellis and several local Houston elected officials for a Coronavirus Mask Distribution event at the Wendel D. Ley Family YMCA. The CDC recommends wearing a face mask in public in an effort to further reduce the spread of the coronavirus, and Harris County is also currently under a Face Mask order. This event is a collaborative effort between several elected officials and community leaders to ensure all families can have access to the face masks they need to remain health and safe during this pandemic. This event is open to the press.
