Houston, TX- Today, Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia proudly announced the successful advocacy for $10,143,200 in funding dedicated to the Greater Northside and International Districts Safe Streets Project. This significant allocation will fortify the initiative's mission to enhance roadway safety, address common risks, bridge network gaps, and introduce safety enhancements. The project is poised to establish secure pathways, promoting the safe and accessible movement of pedestrians, cyclists, and wheelchair users in vulnerable areas across Houston.
