Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia’s Statement on President Biden’s Call for Three-Month Suspension of Gas Tax

"I support both President Biden's call to suspend the federal gas tax and his request for states to suspend their gas tax for at least three months," said Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia. "The state gas tax averages 30¢ per gallon compared to the 18¢ federal tax. It's critical both actions are enacted to truly bring relief for American families at the pump."
