Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia’s Statement on the Ongoing Baby Formula Shortage

Houston, Texas – Today, Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia (TX-29) issued the following statement in response to the ongoing baby formula shortage.

"Protecting Texas children is my greatest priority. I recommend any parent struggling to find baby formula visit the recently launched Health and Human Services website -- which provides resources and places parents can go to obtain formula, including contacts with companies, local food banks, and health care providers atHHS.Gov/formula. I'll continue to update TX-29 residents on new resources and information as it becomes available."

"Congress and the Administration are swiftly working on long-term solutions. This week, Congress will hold hearings and work on finding permanent solutions and will also vote on emergency legislation to address the baby formula shortage."
