Houston, TexasCongresswoman Sylvia Garcia (TX-29) will hold a community town hall on Thursday, August 25, from 5:30 p.m. CST to 6:30 p.m. CST to hear directly from residents on the impact rail trains have on their commute, travels, and daily lives. Congresswoman Garcia hopes to provide a unique experience for community members to share their thoughts and opinions directly with Amit Bose, the Administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).

This community town hall is a direct result of constituent feedback calling for improvements to Houston's rail system, blocked street crossings, and unnecessary horn blowing. Congresswoman Garcia urges all residents to take advantage of this opportunity and share their comments.
