The American Rescue Plan Congresswoman Garcia helped pass secured $12.4 Billion for Texas K-12 schools to stay open safely and make up for lost learning time.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Sylvia R. Garcia (TX-29) announced the first round of investments in repairing Texas bridges coming in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The funding announced this year is part of a larger 5-year grant, where Texas is expected to receive $537 million for repairs.
