Greg Abbott promised drastic, "unprecedented" action to curb what is expected to be a significant influx of migrants coming to Texas.

The Texas Tribune reports that Abbott will provide border communities with buses to direct immigrants straight to Washington D.C. and the U.S. Capitol steps where President Joe Biden and federal lawmakers can deal with them.

"To help local officials whose communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden administration, Texas is providing charter buses to send these illegal immigrants who have been dropped off by the Biden administration to Washington D.C," Abbott said in a statement.
